Francisco Alvarez is an artist, curator, and art consultant.

After a distinguished career as an administrator in numerous leading Canadian cultural organizations, he has devoted himself to creating original artworks and clothing with his unique and colourful designs.

Currently based in Oshawa, Canada, he is inspired by popular culture, contemporary art, fashion, design, dance, and politics. Having worked at the Royal Ontario Museum, Heritage Toronto and OCAD University, he was a Principal with Mr. Pink Art Consultants, President of Axis Art Projects, Advisor to the City of Toronto’s Nuit Blanche for ten years, and co-founder of the Throbbing Rose Collective.
